About

Rus Hauswirth serves as Vice President for Highland Capital Brokerage. Prior to joining Highland in October 2005, Rus served as Senior Vice President for Aon Consulting’s Executive Benefits Division in the Northeast region, which included New England, New York, and New Jersey. During his 22 years with Aon, he worked extensively in estate and financial planning markets with high net-worth individuals. Rus also worked with public and private corporations in the Northeast, designing and implementing non-qualified executive compensation plans.

Rus has a Masters in Financial Science from the American College, where he also earned his Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), Certified Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Registered Employee Benefits Consultant® (REBC®) designations.
