About

Joseph Mulheran is a Managing Director of Signature Private, the private client group of Highland which serves business owners and affluent families. He specializes in business, retirement, and estate-planning solutions involving insurance products. Advice and recommendations are developed through in-depth fact finding and goals-based planning – in close concert with investment advisors, private bankers, family offices, financial planners, accountants, and estate attorneys. Joseph joined Highland in 2012 and has more than 15 years of industry experience.

Joseph began his career with Lincoln Financial Group in Greensboro, N.C. He has served on advisory councils and boards for both Lincoln Financial Distributors and Highland.

After completing his undergraduate studies at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Joseph was awarded the CLU® and ChFC® advanced designations from The American College. The CLU focuses on life insurance and risk management, while the focus of the ChFC is financial planning. Joseph is a member of the Twin Cities Estate Planning Council. He holds the Series 6 and Series 63 licenses.

Joseph, his wife, and their three children reside in Edina, Minn.
