Jennifer Larwood is an Underwriting Consultant on the Highland Capital Brokerage underwriting team. She has over 30 years of underwriting experience, of which, she has spent the last 10 years with Highland. Jennifer specializes in Impaired Risk underwriting, as well as large case underwriting. Prior to joining Highland, Jennifer worked as an underwriter for several major brokerage general agencies (BGAs). Prior to that, she was an underwriter for Executive Life and John Adams Life in New York. Jennifer began her career at CINGA where she trained as a home office underwriter.
At Highland, Jennifer works closely with Sales Vice Presidents, the New Business team, and Illustrations teams to compile a complete client history, allowing the carriers to make the most competitive offers. In addition, to her strong carrier relationships, she is an active client advocate.
Jennifer currently lives in Connecticut with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, walking, reading, and gardening.
