About

Diane Pettit, MBA, serves as Regional Vice President for Highland Capital Brokerage. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Pettit specializes in estate planning, retirement planning, and large retention cases. She helps independent financial professionals receive their desired insurance coverage up to and above jumbo retention limits for their business clients and/or their personal needs. In addition, she actively recruits and works closely with independent financial professionals, as well as focuses on Highland’s elite producer group, HighCap Financial.

Prior to Highland acquiring R.E. Lee, Pettit worked for their operations team, concentrating on back office support for independent financial professionals. And before that, Pettit started learning the financial planning business at CIGNA Financial Advisors in Atlanta and provided marketing/internal wholesale support for registered reps with AIG.

Pettit holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from King College and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University. She holds a Life, Accident, and Sickness license, as well as a Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Representative) and 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination).

Pettit and her husband Randy, reside in Marietta, Ga. They enjoy volunteering for MUST Ministries, the Red Cross, and Eastminster Presbyterian Church.

Pettit has served on numerous committees including Highland’s Advanced Markets Committee and the Athletic Board for Georgia State University. Pettit loves playing piano and spending quality time with her husband and their rescued dog Luke.
