Dee-Dee Moreno serves as the Director of New Business for Highland Capital Brokerage, managing the Highland Express Application Team (HEAT), a virtual team of 13 case managers that provide national coverage. HEAT focuses on business that is transactional in nature. Its streamlined process delivers consistent and efficient case management and maximizes the use of straight-through processing capabilities. The team is responsible for managing individual life, group, and individual disability income applications, long-term care, and conversion applications.
Prior to joining Highland in 2005, Dee-Dee worked at Transamerica for 12 years in different capacities. Originally hired as a receptionist, Dee-Dee gained experience working within various departments within the company: Medical Billing, Contracting, and the Replacement Compliance/1035 unit. After leaving Transamerica, she moved to the sales side of the business, where she worked at Phoenix Brokerage and Total Financial for the next 12 years.
Dee-Dee lives in California and enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly boating on the Colorado River with family and friends, collecting and restoring vintage bicycles, and attending auto shows.
