Christopher Campbell serves as Vice President for Highland Capital Brokerage in Ohio where he is a perennial awards winner, Capital Club member and Signature VP. In this capacity, Chris identifies and develops key professional relationships in the Wealth Transfer, Estate Planning, Executive Benefits and Business Marketplace. He guides insurance professionals and clients to develop solutions to enhance and repair their estate and retirement plans. Chris has extensive experience with nonqualified deferred compensation, business continuation, bonus plans, and estate planning for highly compensated executives and high net worth individuals and families.
Chris joined Highland in 2008 after serving as an executive benefit consultant and regional vice president of advanced planning with the Principal Financial Group. Chris began his career in 1986 as a financial advisor focusing on the business and professional markets.
Chris is a member and past-president of the Columbus, Ohio chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) where he was the 2016 recipient of the I. David Cohen Lifetime Achievement Award. In addition, he is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA®), the Society of Financial Services Professionals (Society of FSP®) and serves as a visiting guest lecturer at The Ohio State University and Ohio University campuses.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and is a Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) from the American College. Chris is a member of the alumni chapter of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity Beta Phi Chapter at Ohio State. He has also been active in the community as a governing board member of First Community Church, as well as various cultural, civic, and charitable organizations.
