About

Chris Collins serves as Vice President of Risk Management Consulting – Life Sales Team. He’s been in the financial services and insurance industry since 2006, where his focus has been on life insurance, disability, and long-term care solutions. Chris provides leadership to a team of advisor consultants focused on creating additive partnerships with financial professionals to solve their clients’ risk-management needs.

Chris joined Highland in 2015, and most recently served as Regional Vice President for Osaic Life. He specialized in leveraging the tax advantages of life insurance in estate and retirement planning, business continuation, wealth-transfer strategies, and long-term care planning.

Before joining Highland, Chris served as Vice President of Sales for National Brokerage. He worked closely with independent insurance professionals, property and casualty firms, employee benefits firms, trust companies, CPA firms, wealth managers, and banks to deliver life insurance strategies for their target markets.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and marketing from the University of Kentucky, where he was also a four-year letterman on the swim team. He enjoys cheering for the Wildcats, playing golf, exercising, and woodworking. He and his wife, Casey, reside in Suwanee, Ga., with their three daughters.
