Eleanor I. Johnson, CPA, CLU^®, CGMA^®, serves as Founding Principal and Managing Director. She is a nationally known and highly respected member of the insurance industry, holding a distinguished position on the Board of the Directors of Forum 400, an elite group limited to the nation's top-tier insurance professionals. This exclusive community fosters collaboration among high-performing life producers, cultivating an environment for sharing practical strategies and innovative ideas that positively impact client outcomes.

Johnson’s focus is on helping financial advisors, independent agents, and their clients identify and implement appropriate insurance strategies. Known for her leadership skills and technical expertise, Johnson is also highly appreciated for her ability to work with clients and their advisory teams to make complex planning concepts understandable. Clients who work with Johnson and her team are empowered to pinpoint and articulate their planning priorities, which reduces implementation time and results.

During her extensive insurance career, Johnson has served as a point-of-sale insurance professional, insurance company executive, founding partner, board member, as well as a major shareholder of Highland, where she worked for 25 years. Before returning to Highland, Johnson managed institutional account distribution at John Hancock, working across all channels.

In her spare time, Johnson enjoys skiing, hiking, golf, travel, and appreciating a great glass of wine with friends. She splits her time between her homes in Seattle and Scottsdale, Ariz., where her daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons live.
