Scott Abarr serves as a Sales Vice President at Highland Capital Brokerage (HCB). He is responsible for annuity distribution in the western United States. Scott works closely with independent producers, national institutions, and broker-dealers.
Scott has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining HCB, Scott was a financial representative with Guardian Life. There, he provided life insurance, annuities, and long-term care services to key 401(k) accounts. Before his career in financial services, Scott was a PGA Professional and spent time in South Carolina, Illinois, and South Florida. Scott took a position with Highland’s Chicago office in August of 2007 as an Annuity Wholesaler. In January 2011 he was invited to be part of the Annuity Division for the corporate team.
Scott enjoys fishing and playing golf in his free time.
