Eric L. Major

Eric Major serves as Brokerage Director for Highland. He started in the financial services industry in 1997 as an intern at John Hancock in Boston. Eric specializes in life, long-term care, and disability insurance with a focus on the small business owner and complex, high-net-worth client space. 

Prior to Highland, Eric spent more than 20 years in the insurance manufacturing world with both John Hancock and MetLife working in marketing, product development, advisory, and wholesaling before moving into the distribution world. In the past nine years, Eric spent his time in the general agency space, covering multiple relationships in both wholesaling and leadership capacities. 

Eric holds the following designations and licenses – the Life and Health license. 

He splits his time between southern New Hampshire and the South Coast of Massachusetts. In his spare time, he loves fishing, hunting, physical fitness, pickleball, being outdoors, and helping others with whatever comes up. The center of his world is his two kids, Haley and Tyler.
