About

Corey Gelinas serves as VP, Senior Advisor Consultant for Highland Capital Brokerage. Corey’s focus is to mentor advisors, help clients, and lead sales organizations to success in the retirement planning space.

Corey began his career in the insurance industry 19 years ago, leading a national health insurance brokerage firm where he produced over $3 million in annual volume, earning President’s Club recognition in each of those years. He was promoted to management in 2004 and was responsible for recruiting, training, and motivating the sales organization in New Hampshire and southern Maine. During his tenure, he surpassed $40 million in career sales volume.

Most recently, Corey worked as Vice President—Annuity Sales at a small marketing firm where he supported advisors’ growth through comprehensive marketing and operations services in addition to providing full carrier access.

Corey earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering management as well as a minor in business administration from the University of Vermont in 2002. He is licensed in life and health in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine.

Corey and his daughter, Madison, live in New Hampshire. When not helping advisors, Corey enjoys attending Maddie’s gymnastics events and spending time with family. He also enjoys playing and watching sports, and is a huge Boston sports fan.
