Aaron Pinkston

Aaron C. Pinkston, CLU®, FLMI, serves as Vice President, Signature Life for Highland Capital Brokerage. With over 20 years in the financial services industry, Aaron specializes in working with professionals, business owners, and individual clients. In addition, he works with financial advisors, and other advisors including CPAs, attorneys, trust officers, and bankers to provide guidance for the proper use of insurance strategies as part of clients’ integrated planning.

Prior to joining Highland, Aaron spent eight years in sales at the wirehouse division of Crump Life Insurance. He began his career as a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative before joining the brokerage world to help other advisors. Aaron holds the Chartered Life Underwriter️ and Fellow Life Management Institute designations, as well as an insurance license in North Carolina and several other states for life insurance, long-term care, disability, and variable contracts.

Aaron lives in Charlotte, N.C., along with his family. He likes home design, recently serving as a board member of the Charlotte Museum of History’s Mad About Modern Home Tour and receiving a preservation award for a residential infill project. He also enjoys traveling and running. Aaron is a member of the Charlotte Running Club and once ran a 50-mile race through the mountains.
