QUALIFICATION INFORMATION

Qualification Period
January 2010-December 2010 (specific dates vary as defined by carrier reports.)

Rewards Credit Thresholds
Producers must earn $325,000 Rewards Credits in aggregate from Highland Capital’s HighLighted Carriers in order to qualify.

Multiple Producer Firms
Multiple producer firms can have multiple qualifiers. The first two qualifiers must reach $325,000 in HighLighted Carrier Rewards Credits. After that, additional firm qualifiers must reach $487,500 in HighLighted Carrier Rewards Credits.

  • Production requirements are aggregate for the firm.
  • Only firm principals are eligible to attend under the aggregate production.
  • Non-principal producers can qualify, based on their individual production, which will not count toward the aggregate production.
  • Only life producers are eligible to attend.
  • A single firm can qualify up to four producers.

IMPORTANT: Rules and Policies of the Highland Rewards Program

  1. The Highland Rewards Trip is NON-TRANSFERABLE and has no cash value. Family members and/or guests of qualifiers are not permitted to attend the Highland Rewards Trip without the qualifier in attendance.
  2. Independent producers who qualify for the Highland Rewards Trip may not be eligible for HighLighted Carrier incentive trips.
  3. No rain checks will be given.
  4. No substitutions will be allowed.
  5. Attendance is by invitation only.
  6. Trip is subject to IRS 1099 treatment.

Rewards Credit reporting is dependent on the accuracy of reporting from Highland Capital’s HighLighted Carriers. Rewards Credit for Highland Rewards Program are defined as the sum of the eligible Rewards Credits for each of the HighLighted Carrier production programs. In general, you will receive equivalent credit for the sale of eligible products as you would have under the individual HighLighted Carrier incentive programs. Rewards Credits must qualify under applicable federal and state insurance, securities, and tax laws. Variable life and variable annuity business is not eligible for Highland Rewards Credits.
